Truck Shows & Mediumship

My partner's passion has recently expanded from classic fords to Kenworth Classic W model trucks. This gives us extra inspiration for travel destinations and I love meeting the many colourful characters that are part of the truck scene. 

They vary from the hugely successful business owners to the passionate owner operator. Often the truck blood runs through the veins of many generations of the same family. To see the passion and pride that is taken by so many is really inspiring and also the fun they have along the way. 

For the most part many meet me and have no clue what I do and I’m fine by that, as often they might hear about it once they have got to know me personally and this often follows by the comment “you seem normal” ha ha – I wouldn’t say normal but I do put the down to earth spent on a field that is often thought of (especially with many aussie blokes) as fortune telling weird stuff. I never shy away from people that are non believers or skeptics because just as I believe what is true for me I also respect that’s the case for them too.

I believe it’s this, allowing everyone to their own beliefs, is why I really don’t come across much negativity around what I do. 

What is most interesting when you start looking around at the various trucks; how many are dedicated to those that have gone before us. These vary from ancestors Dads, Grandfathers, partners, mates, children etc. Some from natural causes. Some from illness to sudden passings through accidents or suicide. 

The irony I find being a Medium is that they are all honouring those that have passed through images, words, dates etc that adorn their beautiful trucks. This reminds me of my duty to those in the spirit world and how my role is to provide that reassurance that their soul/ spirit lives on. I can’t help but feel these truckies, whether they realise it or not, by honouring those that have passed they are ensuring their connection to them is preceded by death of the physical body. And that is not lost on those in the spirit world, along with me. Common threads in this lifetime are no coincidence. 

Who would imagine that truck gatherings and the spirit world were so connected!
